In short: Knebworth Event Parking is a marketplace that connects drivers with local residents and businesses offering private parking near Knebworth for the Oasis shows in September 2027. Reserving is free. Nothing is paid until payment opens, and the host — not Knebworth Event Parking — supplies the space. Knebworth Event Parking is not affiliated with Oasis, Knebworth House, the promoters or any official event car park.

1. Who we are

Knebworth Event Parking is a trading name of 1stklass LTD (company number 16619410), registered office Suite 468, 80a Ruskin Ave, Welling, Greater London, DA16 3QQ. In these terms "we" and "us" mean 1stklass LTD trading as Knebworth Event Parking; "driver" means the person reserving a space; "host" means the resident or business offering it.

Event Parking is independent. We are not the event organiser and cannot answer questions about tickets, show times or official travel; check those with the event organisers. A parking reservation is not an event ticket.

2. Reserving a space (free)

When you reserve, you agree to these reservation terms, which are shown again at the moment you reserve:

“This is a free reservation. Nothing is charged today. Your space is held for you and payment opens on the date shown. To keep the space you must pay by the deadline shown; if you do not, the reservation is released and the space goes back on sale. You can cancel a reservation free at any time before paying. The host provides the space; Knebworth Event Parking is the marketplace that connects you. Follow the host's parking times and stay rules, secure your vehicle and belongings, and report hazards or damage promptly. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility for negligence or affects your statutory rights.”

Give accurate details, including your vehicle type and, where asked, its registration. One reservation covers the vehicle and show date it was made for. Reservations are personal to you and may not be resold.

If you do not pay by the pay-by deadline shown for your show date, the reservation is released automatically and the space can be offered to someone else. We will remind you by email before the deadline, but it is your responsibility to pay in time.

3. Paying and refunds

When the payment window opens, you pay the host through Stripe. The price you see is the total you pay. These booking terms are shown, and must be accepted, at the moment you pay:

“Your named host supplies and sells the parking space. Payment is made to that host through Stripe. The displayed total includes the Knebworth Event Parking commission; no additional Knebworth Event Parking fee is added at payment. Knebworth Event Parking provides booking and support services. You may cancel before the booked arrival for a full refund, including the commission. Host failure or confirmed event cancellation also entitles you to a full refund. Refunds are requested from the original host payment. A pending refund is not complete; we show its actual status and help resolve failures. Your bank may take several working days to display a successful refund. These terms do not exclude your statutory rights or responsibility for our own services.”

If a show is cancelled, or a host cannot honour a paid booking, you get a full refund including our commission. If a show is postponed, you can cancel before your booked arrival for a full refund in the same way. We will tell you by email.

The host is responsible for paying refunds due under these terms. Knebworth Event Parking starts the refund against the original payment and returns the included commission. A pending or unsuccessful payment-provider refund does not remove the host’s obligation, and we will help resolve it.

4. On the day

The exact parking address and arrival instructions are shared once you have paid. Hosts who sell as a business show their business contact details before you book, and these may include an address. Arrive and leave within the parking times shown for your booking. Some hosts offer hands-free arrival with no need to knock; follow their instructions exactly.

Leaving a vehicle overnight is only allowed where the listing says so, and only until the collect-by time shown. Permission to leave a vehicle overnight does not include permission to sleep in it. Sleeping or camping is permitted only where the listing expressly confirms that use and the host has established all required permissions, licences or applicable exemptions.

While parked you must respect the host’s property and neighbours. In particular:

  • no excessive noise, parties or anti-social behaviour;
  • no drinking on the host’s property unless the listing expressly allows it;
  • take all litter away with you;
  • do not block access for the host, neighbours or emergency vehicles;
  • report any damage you cause straight away.

If these rules are broken, the host may end the stay and ask you to move the vehicle, you may be responsible for loss or damage you cause, and we may suspend your 1STKLASS LTD account.

Secure your vehicle and belongings. Neither the host nor Knebworth Event Parking is responsible for loss of, theft of or damage to your vehicle or its contents, except where caused by their negligence or where the law does not allow that responsibility to be excluded. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

5. Hosting a space

Anyone offering a space must:

  • have the right and any permission needed to offer it (for example from a landlord, freeholder, lender or management company);
  • have any insurance cover they need for letting the space and for people using it;
  • describe the space, access, vehicle sizes, times and any overnight rules accurately, and keep the listing up to date;
  • make the space safely accessible and available at the times offered;
  • complete the details HMRC requires digital platforms to hold about sellers, their seller details and parking times before a listing can take reservations, and Stripe’s identity and payout checks before payment opens for their bookings;
  • only offer sleeping in vehicles where they hold any planning permission, site licence or exemption required and suitable insurance, and can show it to us on request;
  • honour reservations and paid bookings, and tell us straight away if they cannot.

Every listing is approved by Knebworth Event Parking before drivers can reserve it. We may decline, pause or remove a listing that is inaccurate, unsafe or breaks these terms. Approval is not an inspection of the space or a guarantee about it.

Hosts are responsible for their own tax. Under UK rules for digital platforms we report hosts’ earnings to HMRC each year.

These payment terms are shown, and must be accepted, when a host sets up payouts:

“You are the parking seller and must have permission and any necessary cover to offer a safe, accurately described space. Stripe pays your proceeds to your own Stripe account on its schedule. Your quoted host amount is before Stripe processing charges. Knebworth Event Parking receives its disclosed commission; Stripe charges you its actual processing costs. You authorise Knebworth Event Parking to request refunds of the original parking payments in accordance with the booking terms, returning the attributable Knebworth Event Parking commission. Stripe may retain its processing fees. Keep sufficient funds available for refunds and disputes, including after bank payout. Knebworth Event Parking does not hold your parking proceeds or promise to fund your shortfalls. You must complete Stripe verification and platform seller-reporting requirements, maintain current payment details and honour confirmed bookings. These terms do not exclude statutory rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.”

6. Our role and responsibility

We run the marketplace: listings, reservations, reminders, the booking record and support. The host supplies the parking and is responsible for the space. We take reasonable care to check listings and hosts, but we do not inspect each space.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow to be limited, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer. Otherwise, our responsibility for our own services is limited to losses that were reasonably foreseeable when you booked.

We may update these terms. A change applies to new reservations and bookings; the terms you accepted continue to apply to an existing one unless a change is required by law or is clearly in your favour.

7. Privacy, questions and complaints

How we use drivers’ and hosts’ personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy, including the Event Parking section.

For questions or complaints, contact us. We aim to acknowledge a complaint within 5 working days and to give a full response within 14 days, or to tell you when we will if it needs longer. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you may also be able to bring a claim in the courts where you live.
